Family Financial Tracker

Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This is a record-keeping tool, not financial advice. Figures, projections and property estimates are indicative only. Never enter real bank details — balances and amounts only.

1. Agreement

By creating an account you agree to these Terms. The Service is operated by Charles Hunter Rollo Green (ABN 71 439 451 912) in Queensland, Australia. Contact: admin@familyfinancialtracker.com.

2. What the Service is

Family Financial Tracker is a personal tool for recording assets, liabilities, investments and budgets, and for viewing projections based on figures and assumptions you supply. It does not connect to your bank, hold money, or execute any transaction.

3. Not financial advice

Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Projections (investment growth, loan payoff dates, offset savings) are mathematical estimates based on assumptions you enter and will not match real outcomes. Market prices are third-party data, typically delayed by around 20 minutes, and may be inaccurate or unavailable. Property figures are estimates published by third parties, not valuations. Always seek advice from a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate details, keep your password and email secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your account. You must not enter bank credentials, card numbers or other payment details into the Service. One account is for one household; do not resell or redistribute access.

5. Free trial, fees and lifetime access

New accounts start with a 7-day free trial. No payment details are required to begin and nothing is charged during the trial. There is no subscription and no automatic payment, so there is nothing to cancel — if you decide the Service isn't for you, simply stop using it.

To continue using the Service after the trial ends you make a one-off payment of $20 AUD (inclusive of GST where applicable). This single payment grants access for as long as the Service continues to operate — there is no recurring or ongoing fee. It is not a guarantee that the Service will operate indefinitely. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.

Closing your account. You may close your account at any time from Settings. Closing is immediate and permanently deletes your account and all of the data in it — we cannot restore it for you afterwards. Because the free trial is offered once per person, where an account is closed before any payment has been made the email address used cannot be used to open a new account for 3 months. This restriction does not apply if you have already made the one-off payment. You do not need to close your account to stop paying: nothing is charged automatically.

6. Refunds

The 7-day free trial is your opportunity to try the Service in full at no cost and decide whether it's right for you. Because of this, the one-off payment taken after the trial is generally non-refundable. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded: if the Service has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund or other remedy. For any concern, contact admin@familyfinancialtracker.com.

7. Availability and discontinuation

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. It may be unavailable for maintenance, third-party outages, or reasons beyond our control. If we decide to discontinue the Service we will give you at least 60 days' notice by email so you can export your data, and we will consider a fair refund for purchases made shortly before that notice.

8. Your data and backups

You own the information you enter. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backup using Settings → Export to file. While we take reasonable care, we do not guarantee against data loss.

9. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data, upload malicious files, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any financial decision made using the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; the date above will change and material changes will be emailed where practical. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
